SAINT-MALO ON A RAINY DAY
When it rains, you think it's a day to stay at home or in your hotel room, but when you're in Saint-Malo, you've got to make the most of it!
So you don't have to stay at home or in the rain, we're going to suggest some indoor activities in this article.

GRAND AQUARIUM
The Grand Aquarium is a must-see in Saint-Malo. Whether you're a fan of underwater wildlife or not, don't miss a visit!
With over 600 species from all oceans, this is one of the largest aquariums in France. Different rooms allow you to discover the species, with a reconstruction of their natural habitat (from the coldest to the warmest ocean, via the deepest depths with a darker room). You'll also have the chance to take part in attractions such as the Nautibus (a submarine that takes you to the depths) and the Abyssal Descender (a descent simulator inviting you to discover abyssal flora and fauna).
JACQUES CARTIER MUSEUM
A native of Saint-Malo, Jacques Cartier was a renowned explorer, navigator and travel writer. While exploring North America in 1534, he discovered Canada and decided to name it after himself.
Come and discover the Manoir de Limoëlou, Jacques Cartier's only legacy, and the story behind it.
MLE PÔLE CULTUREL LA GRANDE PASSERELLE
A major cultural building in Saint-Malo, La Grande Passerelle houses a media library, an Art et Essai cinema, the "4e lieu" dedicated to exhibitions and conferences, a digital space and a cultural desk. The escape game is a new gaming concept that is becoming increasingly popular worldwide.
In Saint-Malo, you'll have to follow in the footsteps of the famous Saint-Malo privateer, Robert Surcouf. As a team, you'll have to solve the riddles in order to escape from the room where you're locked in. It's a great opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends, and to stick together to solve all the riddles. So, will you manage to escape?
